Kantanka Otumfuo, is a made in Ghana V-8 engine driven sport utility vehicle (SUV) out-doored in the capital, Accra, in 2013.
The Kantanka Otumfuo has many features common to all vehicles but the outstanding feature is the engine being ignited by pointing a walking stick/staff at the vehicle and turned off by same.
According to Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, Moses parted the red sea by a staff, so he will use same for igniting the engine of his vehicle.
“The car has an inbuilt circuit with sensor-transducer systems that has connection with the engine” Mr. Ayitey, head of the Mechanical Engineering
department of the Great Kosa Company retorts.
According to him the body of the vehicle is mostly likened to several same models of vehicles that exhibits its extraordinary on road luxury.
The 4X4 Kantanka Otumfuo has a normal car key as an alternative if the user prefer that to the staff.
In his [Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo] speech, he said mass production and for that matter sales could not take place because of the manual system of production. He said it takes him six to eight months to produce just a car making commercial production difficult. However, the company shall install a mini assembly plant early 2014 which shall enable commercial production in May, 2014.
