Memorable History

Date: 24th March 2009.

As part of the vision of Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, Founder and leader of the Kristo Asafo, to impart his knowledge on the youth, the future leaders of the country, he enacted a memorandum of understanding with the Kumasi Polytechnic, Ghana, on March 2009.

This came after he had entered into a similar agreement with the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT), Tarkwa, Ghana, in October 2008

Under the terms of agreement, like the one with UMAT, equipment and facilities of the  Kristo Asafo, were put at the disposal of students of the Polytechnic for use.

Additionally, there were exchange of students and staff between the Apostle Safo Technology Centre and the Polytechnic for training purposes.

This arrangement among other things was dear to the heart of Apostle Dr Safo, the Star of Africa, as it enabled him transfer his technological skills to the staff and students of the institution through training.

Dr. Kwasi Prah, Rector of Kumasi Polytechnic, signed on behalf of the institution while Mr. Festus Owusu-Badu, General Secretary of Kristo Asafo, initialed it for the church.

  1. Wonderful and timely, I hope other tertiary institutions with similar leanings to umat and k’poly would see the light in this partnership with Dr. Safo Kantanka , so to enter into similar partnerships with him. Soon, the storm of safonology would be blowing through all of Africa.
